How Solar PV Works
In the simplest sense, the same sunlight that allows plants to grow here in Britain is captured using a silicon-based technology and converted into usable electric energy (even on a cloudy day) for your home or business to use. The Government will pay you an average of 15.44 p per KWh (kilowatt hour) of electricity you generate (less for larger solar PV systems).
